Wednesday, 24 May
12:00-14:30
Silversquare Europe (Sq. de Meeûs 35, 1000, Bruxelles)
Our March event was a panel discussion with policy experts on three of the EU’s controversial legislative priorities: security/migration policies, the ‘digital transition,’ and the so-called Green Deal.
Following up on that exciting discussion, our April event focused exclusively on the Green Deal and how hyperregulation by bureaucrats hurts ordinary people.
In the third episode of this series, our distinguished speakers will be discussing the ‘digital transition.’
At our event, the most defining aspects of the ‘digital transition’ will be discussed from political, professional, and philosophical perspectives. Our panelists will look at the opaqueness that surrounds the discourse around Europe’s digital transition and will highlight the potential consequences for the lives of ordinary European citizens.
Our panelists will be Dutch MEP Michiel Hoogeveen, Vice-Chair of the ECON Committee, Laetitia Pouliquen, founder of NBIC Ethics, a European think tank on the ethics of NBIC technologies, and Carlos Perona Calvete, writer for The European Conservative. Other special panelists may be announced, as well!
