Days ago, Former White House Chief Strategist Steven K. Bannon—in what has been hailed by Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, as one of the “most amazing” CPAC speeches to date—called Biden’s presidency illegitimate and said the country’s liberal-globalist establishment is waging political and ideological war against working and middle-class Americans.
During his impassioned keynote address, delivered at last week’s CPAC in Texas, Bannon, among other things, insisted the 2020 election was “stolen from Donald J. Trump,” went after the Left for trying to imprison the former president, slammed the indolence of establishment Republicans, inveighed against the country’s ever-increasingly rampant economic inequality, called for the deconstruction of the administrative state, and urged for the Federal Reserve, the privately owned central bank of the United States, to be abolished.
The former executive chairman of Breitbart News who now hosts Bannon’s War Room, one of the most popular podcasts in the country, wasted no time in describing the situation in which ordinary working and middle-class people of the United States presently find themselves in.
2020 Election Fraud Allegations
We are at war. We are in a political and ideological war. You can say whatever you want about it, but we are at war. Think about after high noon on the 20th of January 2021, when an illegitimate imposter took over 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and took over the administration.
There is no doubt in anybody’s mind who’s looked at the facts and information from Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald J. Trump.
Bannon, widely regarded as the preeminent intellectual and strategic thinker of the Rightist anti-globalist movement in the U.S., then proceeded to castigate both anti-populist Republicans who, in his estimation, failed—inadvertently or deliberately—to safeguard the country’s election integrity, as well as the Democrats who, in his estimation, planned and successfully executed a political coup via mass election fraud.
And to all of the Republicans and all the controlled opposition who say it’s about the future… No, elections are about now. We cannot move forward. This is not about President Trump. This is about issues far deeper than President Trump. This is about this Republic—what was bequeathed to us and what we will bequeath to our children and grandchildren.
They told you how they were going to steal it. Months before they came out and said don’t pay attention to election night, because at 10 or 11 O’clock there’s going to be a red tsunami but just wait—because when all the mail-in ballots are counted, with no signature verification, in three weeks Joe Biden will be the president of the United States. They told you how they were going to do it.
We’ve lost the country. We have lost the country … This nation has taken on the Chinese model by our elites. This is not regulatory capture. This is the merger between state capitalism and an authoritarian state.
National Security, Ukraine, Southern Border, Mexican Drug Cartels, and CCP Fentanyl
Regarding U.S. national security—and the globalist establishment’s gross inability to protect it—Bannon called it an “obscenity” that the U.S. sent 40 billion dollars to Ukraine to “defend the Russian-speaking eastern border of Ukraine,” without a debate, without hearings, while the southern border of Texas is “under full invasion and controlled by Mexican drug cartels that are shipping Chinese Communist Party fentanyl here.”
The Deconstruction of the Administrative State
Bannon also emphasized the eminently critical need to deconstruct the administrative state—what some refer to as the ‘deep state’ or what Trump has called ‘the swamp.’
We have a fourth branch of government that’s a leviathan. It’s anti-democratic because they set it up to be impervious to elections. This is how [Republicans] have won more elections than they’ve lost and they’ve still lost the country.
The administrative state, he said, is more than a bureaucracy. “This is organic [system] that’s grown which has its own courts, it puts its own legislation out in the federal register, it has its own enforcement capability. It’s an absolute government that must be taken apart brick by brick.”
Bannon continued,
We are on the edge of a revolution that will deconstruct the administrative state. How? Because of The Supreme Court and the federal court system—brought to you by Donald J. Trump. We now have a court system with major legal intellectuals: Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Alito. [That system] will be the driving force in taking down the administrative state.
We now have a well-trained cadre of people who will hit the beach on day one and their number one task is to start taking apart the federal bureaucracy brick by brick. In the next 24 months, starting November 8th through the 2024 elections, we have the opportunity that will never come again, ever. We have the ability to shatter the Democratic Party as a national political institution.
And how are we going to do it? Have you seen Moms for America? We’re going to do it at school boards, election boards, medical boards, canvassing boards, state legislatures, county supervisors, the House, the Senate, all of it.
To ensure the success of what he called a cultural revolution, Bannon spoke of the need to build a broad multiethnic coalition of conservatives—and noted that the “Hispanic and African-American communities are two of the most socially conservative communities out there, and they detest what going on.”
“And they’re not prepared to back a party that’s going to be nothing but groomers and destroy their young men and young women,” he said to thunderous applause. “
We can’t mess around this time. The American people are going to entrust us. People talk about succession, that we ought to be leaving states, that Texas ought to leave—that’s all nonsense. We are two-thirds of the nation. All they talk about at MSNBC is democracy, democracy, democracy. We’re going to give them a democracy suppository on November 8th. But we have to deliver. There can be no half measures anymore. We’ve seen exactly what they do. They’re going to cancel you, they’re going to put you in jail, they’re going to de-bank you, and deplatform you.”
The Administrative State Wants Trump in Jail Because They Can’t Beat Him
The passivity of the U.S.’s establishment Right over the past fifty to sixty years has opened the door for the globalist Left to construct an administrative state which has become entirely invulnerable to elections, Bannon said, adding that as a result, it’s been able to establish an authoritarian state—based on the Chinese communist model—that has now “merged with big tech, big media, and big pharma.”
Our responsibility, our duty, our mandate, our destiny in this time in history is quite simple. We have to take that on, and take it apart brick by brick—and don’t think it’s going to be easy. The easiest victories we’ve had are behind us. The easiest things we’ve done are behind us. They are going to come after you as they came after Kari Lake and like they came after Mike Lindell.
Look at what they’re doing to President Trump. They understand they can’t beat him at the ballot box, they can’t beat his energy, they can’t beat his vision. They’re coming after him with a death by a thousand cuts, legally. They’re trying to put him in jail to make sure he cannot run again in 2024 and be the rightful president he should be right now.
Bannon emphasized that Republicans must seek total victory over ‘power-mad and lawless’ leftists, declaring: “There can be no half measures anymore.”
When we win this time in the House, we have to choke down the administrative state. We have to cut off the oxygen that feeds the beast… They are totally, absolutely corrupt. They’re absolutely power-mad and they’re lawless. That’s my point about half measures. When we take the House, investigations of Fauci, investigations of [Hunter Biden’s laptop], investigations of the southern border. Investigations, investigations, investigations. Accountability and criminal charges if need be.
Bannon then called on the Right to “fight fire with fire” since the progressive Left is “playing to win” and the Right isn’t at the moment. “The country is in the balance,” he said, adding that if patriots fail to fight the Left with the necessary vigor “we will not bequeath a constitutional republic to our children.”
The Federal Reserve Bank and Egregiously Excessive Economic Inequality
To conclude his twenty-five-minute-long fiery address, Bannon called for the end of the Federal Reserve banking system, saying that the privately-owned central bank has “usurped its power and the power of the American people and our elected representatives”—and has created an economic situation in which 0.5% of U.S. citizens have more assets than the bottom 90%. “They do not have the consent of the American people, we will not comply, we will not submit, and it must be ended,” he declared.
“The biggest scam that they have—the biggest con—is not just the appropriations process and how they fund it,” Bannon said. “It’s the Federal Reserve.”
“We don’t need to audit the Fed. We need to end the Federal Reserve.”
The Federal Reserve, by the way, is owned not by the American people. It’s a central bank that’s owned by twenty-four prime brokers, being JP Morgan, Goldman Sacks and Morgan Stanley.
In closing, let me just remind you that from the founding of this nation up to the founding of the Federal Reserve, for those hundred years, Hamilton versus Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Henry Clay, Teddy Roosevelt, William Jennings Bryan… The whole concept, the policy of money, it was actively debated what the currency was, who controlled the currency, what was the central bank, who controlled the central bank.
After the Federal Reserve was formed, we’ve lost that. That is going to be one of the most major issues we have. We have to end the federal reserve. That central bank is going to be owned by one group: the American people. The American people will control their own bank and their own currency.
