Gerhard Ludwig Müller, a German cardinal who presently sits as a high-ranking Vatican court judge, has denounced prominent members of the globalist financial elite for exploiting the pandemic as a pretext to establish “total control” over the masses.
In a video recording released by the St. Boniface Institute in Austria, Cardinal Müller condemned George Soros, Bill Gates, and Klaus Schwab, calling them individuals “who sit on the throne of their wealth” who view the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic as a window of opportunity to “implement their agenda,” the German daily Die Welt reports.
Policies pushed by the globalist financial elite, which have been presented to the public under the guise of combatting the worldwide pandemic, are “born out of the will to use the opportunity to bring people into line, to subject them to total control and to establish a surveillance state,” Müller said, noting that times of crisis have always been ideal for anti-democratic activities.
This agenda, which is based on trickery and deception, according to Müller, is being used to “bring about a new creation, a new person.”
“I don’t really want to be created and redeemed in the image and likeness of Klaus Schwab or Bill Gates or Soros and all these people who jet off to Glasgow with private jets and then impose big austerity measures and restrictions on the masses,” Müller said. “From a political point of view, that has nothing to do with democracy,” the former bishop of Regensburg added.
The cardinal’s two-minute-long video recording has prompted an intense backlash from so-called journalists in the mainstream press. For his statements, Müller is now facing accusations of spreading so-called “conspiracy theories” from Germany’s overwhelming liberal media.
Cardinal Müller confirmed the authenticity of the video recording in an email to the German Press Agency (DPA), but pushed back against allegations that he had been spreading conspiracy theories, adding he rejects the notion that “if someone criticizes the financial elite, they’re automatically on the wrong side.”
The Vatican court judge, who’s regarded as a leading opposition figure to Pope Francis, isn’t the only high-ranking member of the Catholic church to level such accusations against global elites.
Months ago, similar allegations were made by Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò during an interview with Robert Moynihan of Inside the Vatican magazine. In the interview, which lasted well over an hour, Archbishop Viganò accused Klaus Schwab and his colleagues at the World Economic Forum (WEF) of using the COVID-19 pandemic to enact a “neo-Malthusian” agenda, claiming that Pope Francis is a “zealous cooperator” of the “Great Reset” agenda.
