“Poland is not the European Union,” President Nawrocki declared. “Poland is Poland, and it will stay that way.”

Before he’s even taken office, President-elect Nawrocki is already surrounded—by an EU establishment eager to clip his wings and a prime minister who’s anything but an ally.

According to a new poll, close to half of those surveyed would like to see the current prime minister gone.

The center-right Poland 2050 was denied the deputy prime minister post it asked for, which was instead given to Foreign Minister Sikorski, a member of Tusk’s own party.

Talk is growing that the prime minister is planning his resignation for some time in the near future.

Although the Polish conservative leader denied discussing a potential coalition, members of the Tusk cabinet are panicking.

Private talks between coalition members and opposition figures add pressure as the government faces increasing criticism over border control.

“This means a stronger voice for countries demanding more sovereignty, less bureaucracy, and stronger transatlantic ties.”

Tusk’s forces lost the momentum, and their coalition faces an uncertain future.
