A Moroccan man convicted of sexually abusing and prostituting more than a hundred children in Spain was arrested in Turkey after years on the run, Gateway Hispanic reported.
The arrest took place on April 20th in Istanbul, Interpol said. The Moroccan criminal had been wanted since 2019, when he fled after being convicted in Spain for crimes of sexual abuse and child exploitation.
Most of his victims, aged between 10 and 16, were lured in Tortosa. Similarly to what happened in the UK in the shocking grooming gangs cases, the man was part of a network that targeted vulnerable minors, often from disadvantaged backgrounds, building ’friendships’ with them, and later subjecting them to abuse and forced prostitution.
The investigation had uncovered part of the criminal network already in 2018, but the main perpetrator managed to escape. His capture in Turkey was the result of years of international cooperation.
For a decade, Spain has faced a rise in children exploitation crimes linked to uncontrolled immigration, but but the Left and the complicit media “remain silent when the victims are Spanish children and the perpetrators are immigrants with criminal records,” Gateway Hispanic noted.
A morrocan has been arrested in Turkey for abusing 100 Spanish children.
