Giorgio Armani, founder of the iconic luxury fashion house, died on September 4th after a period of illness that began earlier this summer.
“Giorgio Armani passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, after working until his last days. He was a forerunner, extending his vision from fashion to every aspect of living,” a statement released by the Armani Group reads.
In June 2025, Armani missed Milan Fashion Week for the first time due to health issues. He had been planning a major event this month to mark 50 years of his fashion house.
