A man detonated an explosive device, killing multiple before dying from his own injuries.

At least three people were killed and 12 others injured in an explosion at a railway station in Ovruch on Friday, October 24th.

According to local media, a man from Kharkiv detonated an explosive device during a document check, killing a female border guard and two civilians.

The bomber later died from his injuries in an ambulance, the State Border Guard Service reported. Police have cordoned off the area and an investigation into the incident is underway.

The man “had recently been detained for attempting to violate the state border in the western section of the state ,” the border guard said in a post on Telegram.
