Three people were killed, and at least two dozen—including six children—were injured in a Russian drone strike on Kyiv on the evening of Saturday, October 25.

According to preliminary information, three people were killed and 27 wounded.
Six children were among the wounded in the attack. The drones hit several residential buildings, including a nine-story structure in the Desnyanskyi district, where fires broke out and multiple residents had to be rescued.
Five people were saved from another damaged nine-story block, while a 16-story building in the Obolonskyi district also suffered damage. Kyiv’s military administration warned residents to remain in shelters as more UAVs continued to fly above the city.
The strikes came just a day after four people were killed and around 20 wounded, according to Ukrainian authorities, in other Russian drone and missile attacks on Kyiv.
On Saturday, Kremlin chief negotiator Kirill Dmitriev met with officials from the Trump administration—including Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. Talks are expected to continue on Sunday., October 26.
U.S. president Donald Trump does not consider a summit with his Russian counterpart likely, stating he “will not waste his time.”
