Arthur Krön is a writer and historian at the University of Oxford whose commentary and analysis on European affairs and democratic movements has appeared in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (where he is a regular contributor), EUobserver, The Diplomat, Berlingske, New Eastern Europe, and others. His research focuses on the interaction between national identity and war in 19th-century Europe. He also works on contemporary European Affairs as part of the Dahrendorf Programme.
