Wednesday, 26 April
13:30-16:15
Silversquare Europe (Sq. de Meeûs 35, 1000, Bruxelles)
Our March event was a panel discussion with policy experts on three of the EU’s controversial legislative priorities: security/migration policies, the ‘digital transition,’ and the so-called Green Deal.
Following up on that exciting discussion, our April event will focus exclusively on the Green Deal. We will look at how hyperregulation by bureaucrats hurts ordinary people. Do they want to destroy farmers’ livelihoods? Do they want us to just eat bugs? Should people be able to hunt on the land?
Our distinguished panelists will be Dutch MEP Rob Roos, Samuel Furfari, former European Commission official, and Sebastian Morello, senior editor and editorial board member of The European Conservative. Other special panelists may be announced, as well!
Rob Roos will be speaking about the recent agricultural reforms and their impact on farmers; Samuel Furfari will talk about the energy side of agriculture, in particular about the effects of ‘energy disarmament’; and Sebastian Morello will share his views on the countryside, rural heritage, regulations related to rural areas, and hunting.
