On the night of October 25, an 18-year-old woman was raped in Rome’s Tor Tre Teste park, while her boyfriend was forced to watch. A group of Moroccan men surrounded the couple’s car, smashed the windows and attacked them.
Three suspects have been arrested on charges of gang rape and robbery. Authorities are still investigating whether others were involved. DNA tests and examinations of mobile phone evidence are underway as the investigation continues.
This crime echoes an earlier case in Sicily, where three Moroccan migrants stand accused of raping two Hungarian tourists.
