Alice Weidel, Co-Chair of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party visited Viktor Orbán, Hungarian Prime Minister in Budapest on Tuesday, July 29th. The two conservative politicians met in the Buda Castle where they held talks on the most relevant issues of Europe.
“Europe faces big challenges: war, immigration, weak economy. We will need all the help to overcome them. This is what we talked about with Alice Weidel” Orbán shared on his Facebook page, along with the picture of the two politicians, seemingly in a good mood.
Weidel first visited Hungary back in February, when in a joint press conference the AfD chief praised Hungary for its conservative stance against the mainstream. PM Orbán returned the praise, saying AfD is the future for Germany.
Last time the two met was in late May at CPAC, the conservative conference where both Orbán and Weidel attended and gave a speech. The two highlighted their good relationship all these times and the strong conservative alliance within Europe that stands up to the reign of the establishment liberal ideology.
