A 40-year-old man was arrested in the Belgian city of Antwerp, after a stabbing in which a 39-year-old was critically injured. The attack happened on Saturday, August 30, as the victim left a parking garage. The suspect fled but was later caught.
The entire incident was captured on the parking garage’s security cameras. While the details of the attack are still under investigation, the victim, initially in critical condition, is now stable.
The security footage played a key role in identifying and arresting the suspect. He will appear before a judge to determine if he will remain in custody as the investigation continues.
