German right-wing outlet Junge Freiheit (JF) reports that the German Federal Foreign Ministry has signed a service contract with former foreign minister Annalena Baerbock, known to have done an absymal job in that capacity, for her to perform her new role as UN General Assembly (UNGA) President.

The Green Party politician has been classified in salary group B9, the ministry shared, responding to Junge Freiheit‘s query. This corresponds to a wopping sum of approximately €13,000 per month. The ministry did not answer whether she will also be assigned a makeup artist. Baerbock had spent €136,500 per year on this as foreign minister. (She apparently spent the rest of her time suing citizens for negative comments about her.)

Not only will German taxpayers pay Baerbock’s salary, but they will also foot the bill for the rent of her apartment in New York. This is “standard practice,” the Foreign Office told JF.
