In a video that is going viral on X, and which appears to be real and not AI-generated, two British female police officers show up at the front door of a family home, demanding that the phone of a child in the household be handed over to them for an apparently unlawful social media post.
The woman, probably the child’s mother, refuses to comply. The officers then say if they are not allowed to “seize” the phone, things could “escalate” and then specifically thretaen to arrest the child. When told by the mother she and child would go to the police station to clarify the matter, they force their way into the house, but eventually leave when the mother says she has nothing more to say to them.
