Police made 46 arrests in Brussels during a large-scale police operation against drug trafficking and organized crime, the Public Prosecutor’s Office announced.
The operation, on October 3rd, covered all six police zones and followed a violent weekend, with shootings in Saint-Gilles and Boulevard du Midi. Authorities said it highlighted the need for ongoing police action.
The raids also led to 52 drug-related reports, 68 weapons offences and multiple drink- and drug-driving citations. Prosecutor Julien Moinil stressed that all suspects face appropriate legal action.
