Danish authorities concluded that the Swedish duo committed a terrorist act, leading to lengthy sentences.

Two young Swedes were sentenced to prison terms on Tuesday, February 3rd for throwing grenades at the Israeli embassy in Denmark in October 2024.

A Copenhagen court sentenced 18-year-old Theo Lefwerth to 12 years in prison and 21-year-old Eyasu Semena to 14 years after finding them guilty of terrorism in connection with the antisemitic incident.

The police stated:

The two men threw the grenades with the intention of seriously intimidating the Israeli and Danish populations; the attack therefore constitutes a terrorist act.

During the hearing, the younger of the two—who is also being prosecuted in Sweden for shooting at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm—admitted to being a member of the Foxtrot criminal network, which recruited him during his secondary school years
