Spain’s national grid operator Red Electrica told a press conference on Tuesday, April 29th, that the company has ruled out a cyberattack as the cause of the massive blackout that hit the Iberian Peninsula the previous day.

“With the analysis that we have been able to carry out up to now, we can rule out a cybersecurity incident in the facilities,” director of operations Eduardo Prieto said.
