Two Syrians used a knife to threaten, rob, and then rape a Czech man on Sunday, September 28th. The incident reportedly took place in front of Dresden’s main train station. The 15-year-old suspects are alleged to have threatened the 19-year-old victim with a knife, stolen €300, and sexually assaulted him.
Police arrested both suspects shortly after the incident. A judge issued warrants on Monday, and the pair—with no prior convictions—are now in custody.
Authorities have not provided details on the victim’s condition. Since July this year, Dresden has witnessed both a serious immigrant knife fight and a U.S. tourist stabbed in the face.
