Eight people were killed and 27 injured in a ballistic missile strike on the port infrastructure in southern Ukraine, the Odesa regional emergency service confirmed on Telegram on Saturday, December 21st.
The projectiles also hit a bus and the surrounding parking lot, where trucks and cars caught fire before being extinguished by firefighters.
The Ukrainian armed forces reported that Russia deployed a total of 51 drones and three Iskander-M ballistic missiles on Friday night at 15 locations across the country, with the port infrastructure in Odesa among the targets.
