Hadush Kebatu, convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old and an adult woman, was mistakenly released from prison in the UK before being deported to Ethiopia.

The Home Office confirmed the criminal illegal immigrant was paid £500 in public funds to leave the country.

Kebatu’s release sparked widespread protests, including outside migrant hotels, drawing public outrage. An independent inquiry has been launched to investigate the bungled prison release.

Authorities stressed that all steps were taken to ensure his swift deportation and protect public safety.
