Nigel Farage has pledged to introduce mass deportations of asylum seekers arriving in the UK by small boats if Reform UK comes to power.

The Reform leader told The Times that his party will publish an Illegal Migration (Mass Deportation) Bill next week. Under the proposals, migrants would be arrested on arrival, denied the right to claim asylum, and detained on disused RAF bases or in new detention centres before being deported within 30 days.

Farage said the UK would leave the European Convention on Human Rights, repeal the Human Rights Act, and derogate from international agreements including the Refugee Convention. He also proposed deals with countries such as Afghanistan and Eritrea, as well as third-country schemes with Rwanda, Albania, or British overseas territories such as Ascension Island.

The plan includes daily deportation flights and a voluntary returns scheme offering £2,500 for migrants to leave. Farage claims the measures would cost £10 billion over five years but save £7 billion compared to current asylum spending.

Farage insisted only deportations would end Channel crossings.
