French PM Expected To Appoint 15 Ministers on Sunday Evening

Sébastien Lecornu, who is set to deliver his general policy speech on Tuesday, will reportedly appoint the members of his new government in two stages.

After lengthy negotiations, it now appears that the new French prime minister, Sébastien Lecornu, will unveil the first part of his cabinet on Sunday evening, Le Figaro reports.

According to sources within the presidential camp, around 15 ministers are expected to be announced in this first wave, with additional appointments to follow later. 

Several insiders anticipate a number of reappointments and a more streamlined government team, potentially totaling around 25 ministers overall.
