Israeli officials said Greta Thunberg and the rest of the “freedom flotilla” that were taken into custody refused to watch a film documenting the atrocities of Hamas’ terror attack on Israel on October 7th, 2023.
“Greta and her flotilla companions were taken into a room upon their arrival for a screening of the horror film of the October 7 massacre,” defense minister Israel Katz said, but when they saw what it was about, they refused to continue watching.”
Some of the activists, including Thunberg, accepted being deported while the ones refusing deportation are kept in detention awaiting court hearings.
