FM Péter Szijjártó praised Hungary’s successful connectivity strategy, which allows the country to maintain a strong relationship with China and the United States alike.
During talks in Beijing, the Foreign Minister said that Hungary supports strong U.S.-China relations and global cooperation, rather than division. He emphasized that both countries are key trade and investment partners for Hungary.
In a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Szijjártó praised China’s role in promoting peace and dialogue, including efforts on the war in Ukraine. He stated that Hungary belongs to the “bloc of peace” and aims to build bridges between East and West.
