If the U.S. respects Iran’s rights and lifts sanctions, there will be a nuclear deal, FM Araghchi said.

Iran has not received any written proposal in negotiations with the United States about its nuclear programme, Tehran’s top diplomat said on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump said, “They have a proposal.”

“They know they have to move quickly or something bad is gonna happen,” he told reporters on Air Force One.

“Iran has not received any written proposal from the United States, whether directly or indirectly,” Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a post on X, hours after Trump’s remarks.

Trump has said he wants to tackle the Iranian nuclear crisis either through diplomacy or military force, but made it clear he’d prefer a deal that guarantees Iran never gets a nuclear weapon.
