An Israeli air strike targeted a vehicle in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in a village in southern Lebanon on Friday, November 21st, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Saturday morning. The strike on Froun in southern Lebanon killed a Hezbollah member who had been “promoting terrorist attacks against the State of Israel and its forces,” the IDF announced.
Israel says despite the ceasefire that entered into force last November, Hezbollah is working to rebuild its military capabilities and has repeatedly breached the terms of the truce.
On Friday, Israel said it had targeted Hamas terrorists in a strike on Thursday, November 20th, on a refugee camp on the outskirts of the coastal city of Sidon.
