A Kremlin reporter shared a video of Kim Jong Un’s staff cleaning the room after his meeting with Putin in Beijing, wiping down his chair and removing his glass to erase all traces.
Kim also brought his own toilet, with aides wiping off everything he touched to prevent spies from learning about his health—a practice dating back to his father’s time.
Kim’s security team also cleans all other items before he uses them. In 2023, before a meeting with Vladimir Putin, they disinfected his chair and even scanned it with a metal detector to ensure it was safe.
