NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Friday, June 13th, said it was “crucial” for allies of Israel to work to de-escalate tensions, after Israel struck some 100 targets in Iran, including Tehran’s nuclear and military sites.
“I think it is now crucial for many allies, including the United States, to work, as we speak, to de-escalate. I know that they are doing that and I think that is now the first order of the day,” Rutte told reporters at a press conference in Stockholm, noting it was a “unilateral” action by Israel.
