Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted to Emmanuel Macron’s April 12th remarks on X by stating that the idea of the creation of a Palestinian state was mistaken. Netanyahu said such calls were “a great mistake,” adding that the only purpose of a Palestinian state would be “the destruction of Israel.”
On Sunday Netanyahu also distanced himself from the “style” of the critcism expressed by his son, Yair Netanyahu, of the French president’s comment.
Screw you! Yes to independence of New Caledonia! Yes to independence to French Polynesia! Yes to independence of Corsica! Yes to independence of the Basque Country! Yes to independence of French Guinea! Stop the neo imperialism of France in west Africa! https://t.co/Vwa3a8fN2c
