Patriots for Europe (PfE) chair and Rassemblement National leader Jordan Bardella spoke during the plenary debate of the European Parliament in Strasbourg today.

Bardella decried the mistaken course of the Green Deal, stating that it has “brought the [European] automotive industry to its knees” in its competition with China.

Bashing the net zero goals that imposed a “force-marched” transition on European carmakers in a way that was “totally disconnected from the industrial and strategic realities” of Europe, Bardella declared:

“We need to get rid of the ideology of ‘degrowth’ imposed by the EU institutions on our nation states. Our economic vision is to produce, produce and produce.”
