The unmanned aircraft crossed into Polish airspace overnight and detonated about 100 kilometers from Warsaw; no injuries were reported.

Poland, a key supporter of Ukraine, claimed that a Russian military drone flew into its airspace and exploded in farmland in the east of the country overnight, calling it a “provocation.”

The explosion occurred in a cornfield near Osiny, approximately 100 km (62 miles) from Warsaw, near the borders of Ukraine and Belarus.

“Once again, we are facing a provocation from the Russian Federation, with a Russian drone,” Polish defence minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz told reporters.

Officials reported no casualties, but nearby house windows were blown out.
