According to a fresh YouGov poll, Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has hit a new high following the party’s electoral victories in the recent local elections.
The pollster found that at the beginning of May, Reform UK is the most popular party in the UK, with 29% support, up 3 percentage points since the last poll conducted between April 27th and 28th.
Labour is trailing Farage’s party with 22%, down 1%, followed by the Tories, who are at just 17%, having lost 3% of their voters. This puts them now practically head-to-head with the Liberal Democrats, who have 16% support according to YouGov.

According to the projections of Stats for Lefties, the current support would (theoretically) translate into 369 seats for Reform, up 364, 87 seats for the Liberal Democrats, 15 seats up, and only 86 for the Labour party, who would thus lose 325 seats, while the Tories would garner 17 seats, down 104.

As we previously noted, the results of Reform UK in last week’s local elections was a proper “earthquake,” and gives the Farage party a chance to demonstrate it can act differently to both the Conservatives and Labour when in government.
