Shots were fired early on Sunday morning in the Bramfeld district of the second-largest German city, where an argument broke out outside a water pipe bar. An 18-year-old man with a bleeding head fled to a nearby venue where a graduation ceremony was being held, guests called the ambulance. The injured man was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police deployed a large force to the scene and the area was cordoned off by the authorities. The motive for the crime is still unclear, but the incident was witnessed by several passersby.
