A tiny village in central Slovakia is now home to a magical new attraction for fans of the wizarding world. In Nemecká, a former school building has been transformed into a fully immersive Harry Potter-themed Potions Classroom, the third installment of an exhibition that first opened in 2023.

According to Petra Ridzoňová Hlásniková–head of the regional tourism organisation OOCR Región Horehronie–the new room underwent months of detailed reconstruction, with artists beginning their work in March. The result is a space that captures the enchanting atmosphere of a wizarding world.

The classroom features a large stone fireplace with a roaring fire, surrounded by shelves filled with vials, mysterious ingredients, and magical paraphernalia. At its center sits a bubbling cauldron, emitting colourful, shifting plumes of steam that fill the room with a sense of alchemy and magic.

Visitors are encouraged to hunt for a hidden key that opens a secret chamber, revealing the legendary Sorting Hat.
