Police were called to a hair salon (which may be a euphamism for a barber shop to avoid ‘stigmatization’) in central Brussels following an ongoing ‘altercation’ involving knives that left two people injured. The victims (unlikely to be ladies having their hair permed) were taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
“The police are continuing their investigations to identify the perpetrators and understand the context of the events,” stated Commissioner Linda Camarero-Verde, spokesperson for the Brussels-Capital/Ixelles police zone.
The Belgian capital has become infested with crime over the past years, with hardly a day going by when there are no shooting or stabbing incidents.
