An asylum seeker appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London, charged with making threats to kill Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, on Friday, June 13th.
Fayaz Khan, better known as the social media influencer Mada Passa, was brought to the UK under French supervision to claim asylum. His distinctive facial tattoo and gangster pretensions in online videos prompted Farage to ask if this was the sort of young man who should be allowed into Britain. The illegal small boats Channel crosser then released a follow-up video appearing to suggest he would shoot Mr. Farage to death.
Khan, 26, from Afghanistan, was charged with making threats to kill and persistently making use of a public communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety, during video clips alleged to have been made between October 12th and 15th, 2024.
While Khan remains innocent until proven guilty, his general conduct on social media—and perhaps the Kalashnikov assault rifle tattooed on his face—prove unwittingly one of Farage’s arguments about migration.
