Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó shared information on social media this morning about “press reports” suggesting that the Ukrainian government may be about to ban the Transcarpathian Hungarian Cultural Association (THCA or KMKSZ in Hungarian).
The minister said the Hungarian government “demands immediate explanation” regarding the media reports.
We demand an immediate and clear explanation from the Ukrainian government following media reports about the ban of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Cultural Association, the party representing the Hungarian community and fighting for their rights.
