A statement released on Friday, April 10th saw Trump praise Orbán as a “truly strong and powerful leader” with a “phenomenal track record.”
By emphasizing their shared priorities—specifically illegal immigration, economic growth, and “LAW AND ORDER”—Trump effectively linked the fate of his own political movement with Orbán’s continued role in Budapest.
This was not the first time that President Trump praised Viktor Orbán. These endorsements position the Hungarian leader as a central pillar in a growing global alliance of national-conservative forces that spans from Washington to the heart of Europe.
