Less than two days before Hungary’s high-stakes parliamentary elections on Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump issued yet another powerful message of support of the incumbent Orbán government.
The president said on Truth Social the United States “stands ready to use its full economic might” to strengthen the economy of Hungary, a “great ally,” should Viktor Orbán or the Hungarian people “ever need it.”
Trump added that his administration “stands ready to invest in the future prosperity that will be generated by Orbán’s continued leadership.”
