Trump has ordered a crackdown on “domestic terrorists” driven by anti–American, anti–capitalist, and anti–Christian principles.

U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing a crackdown on the finances and activities of several far–left non–profits and advocacy groups, according to officials.

The Trump administration plans to deploy America’s counterterrorism apparatus–including the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the Justice Department–as well as the Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department against certain radical left–wing organizations allegedly behind the financing of “domestic terror networks” in the U.S.

The White House said in a statement that

left–wing organizations have fueled violent riots, organized attacks against law enforcement officers, coordinated illegal doxing campaigns, arranged drop points for weapons and riot materials, and more.

A White House official noted that the president’s directive is aimed at disrupting organized political violence before it occurs. The official said the

focus remains on violence and illegal activity. However, left–wing groups are also free to protest within the bounds of the law.

When pressed by a reporter in the Oval Office on September 25 about potential targets of a domestic terrorism probe, Trump mentioned billionaire George Soros, whose foundation has given more than $80 million (€68.13 million) to groups that are allegedly tied to terrorism and extremist violence.

Trump said

if they are funding these things, they’re going to have some problems. Because they’re agitators and anarchists.
