Medics reported that two people were wounded in a stabbing attack at a hotel in Tzuba, an Israeli kibbutz less than 10 kilometres west of Jerusalem
Police have since confirmed that the Palestinian assailant—reportedly an employee of the hotel—had been arrested for the September 12th assault
Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency service announced that its emergency medical technician and paramedics
are treating two stabbing victims and evacuating them to hospital, including a 60-year-old male in serious condition and a 23-year-old male in moderate condition.
Israeli police described an individual “from the Shuafat area carried out a stabbing attack against guests at a hotel in Kibbutz Tzuba, injuring them,” adding an officer at the scene “subdued the terrorist, placing him under arrest.”
Several associates of the attacker were also detained.
The Shuafat neighbourhood and nearby refugee camp are in east Jerusalem, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967.
