Ukraine and the U.S. are launching talks in Switzerland on ways to end the war, Secretary of Ukraine’s Security Council Rustem Umerov said on Saturday, November 22nd, after Washington sent Kyiv a peace plan which accepts some of Moscow’s demands.
“In the coming days in Switzerland we are launching consultations between senior officials of Ukraine and the United States on the possible parameters of a future peace agreement,” Umerov, who is on the negotiating team, wrote on Telegram.
Apparently minutes before the announcement President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the Ukrainian delegation for the talks, which will be led by his top aide Andriy Yermak.
