U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, attended Ukraine’s independence celebrations in the capital, Kyiv, on Sunday, August 24th.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed Kellogg’s presence in Ukraine, which is seeking Trump’s support to help end the three-and-a-half-year-long war with Russia.
According to unnamed informed sources, Kellogg will stay in Ukraine for two days.
Alongside Kellogg, representatives and officials from other countries also joined the celebrations, including Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. Foreign guests also included the defence ministers of Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, and Canada, as well as the UK’s Minister for Veterans’ Affairs.
