A mass brawl in Vienna left multiple victims, prompting further concerns about public safety.

Austrian authorities are investigating a violent late-night stabbing that left four people hospitalized.

The incident occurred at 12:45 a.m. on Thursday near a tram stop on the Neubaugürtel, when a large fight erupted among several men. During the confrontation, two participants allegedly drew knives and attacked their opponents.

Police arriving at the scene discovered two stab victims.

Passersby guided officers to nearby Emil Maurer Park, where another fight had erupted. There, two more victims were found, one who sustained injuries from a knife and one who had been beaten.

The victims include Syrian and Mongolian nationals. Emergency medical teams provided first aid on site, and all four were taken to hospitals for treatment. Police say the attackers escaped the scenes on e-scooters.

The State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation.

The violent incident raises concerns about public safety and migrant crime in Vienna. Earlier, a 16-year-old girl was injured in a knife attack near a school in Brigittenau, prompting a major police operation. In a separate incident, a 25-year-old woman was found critically injured in another stabbing.
