Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on his election victory, expressing hope that the two countries would build stronger ties under the Liberal leader’s premiership.
“We are sincerely grateful for Canada’s principled leadership in supporting Ukraine … We are confident that our partnership will only grow stronger in our shared pursuit of peace, justice, and security,” Zelensky said in a post on X on Tuesday, April 29th.
