CDU candidate Armin Laschet warned of economic consequences of an SPD-Greens-Linke government, Euractiv.com reports.
“The whole of Europe is looking to keep this country stable. If we start with some ideological experiments here, then we tear down the others with us,” Laschet said.
According to the head of the CDU, if a left-wing government would increase taxes, there is a risk that many companies will migrate abroad.
The latest Insa polls put SPD at 25%, CDU/CSU at 20%. The Greens stood at 16%, the liberal FDP at 13%, right-wing AfD at 12% and left-wing Linke at 7%.
