Hundreds of members of the Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah have been left “seriously wounded” following the detonation of the pagers they use to communicate.
One official from the Lebanon-based group, which has been engaged in cross-border warfare with Israel since the October 7th terror attacks, told Reuters that these explosions amount to the “biggest security breach” in the conflict yet.
Graphic footage shared online by American journalist Yashar Ali allegedly shows the moment one of these pagers exploded in a market area.

Shashank Joshi, defence editor at The Economist, described the explosions as “incredible.”
City A.M. writer Jack Mendel added he has “no doubt [that] on the streets of London, on campuses, people will be outraged,” if this event is confirmed as an attack—despite it being based on “precision, not targeting civilians.”

Fighters targeted, in a war. Precision, not targeting civilians. Even here, no doubt on the streets of London, on campuses, people will be outraged
The Israeli military did not immediately reply to Reuters’ request for comment on the explosions.
