U.S. Economy Is on the Move
Good news! America has avoided a recession. But the Federal Reserve can still make one happen.

‘Going green’ can be massively profitable, but so is greenwashing. The Commission’s proposal targets companies who misleadingly advertise their products as environmentally friendly to provide a level playing field and help customers identify truly green brands.
While it is correct that a recession is defined by two consecutive quarters of declining GDP, it is not correct that the American GDP declined two quarters in a row. Unfortunately, all the economists and analysts who made the recession call were wrong.
Compared to the American economy, Europe is slow to get through the post-pandemic recovery, but these GDP numbers show that it is actually happening—almost everywhere, that is. The paltry numbers out of Germany, Italy, and Spain, three of the largest economies in Europe, tell us that these three countries have become a drag on the European economy.
