Sightings of unidentified drones near airports and military bases have raised serious security concerns in Brussels.

Hundreds of passengers spent the night at Belgium’s main airport after air traffic was twice halted amid growing concerns over drone activity.

The Bremen drone incident follows a string of similar sightings in Munich and Berlin, as unidentified drones continue to disrupt air traffic across Germany.

Berlin moves to tighten airspace security after a surge in recent UAV incidents, including major disruptions at Munich Airport last week.

Drone activity shut down flights in Munich, leading to cancellations and diversions at one of Europe’s busiest airports.

According to Copenhagen, drone activity was detected at the Skrydstrup Air Base in southern Denmark and at the Jutland Dragoon Regiment base.

Officials said around 20,000 passengers faced delays after large UAVs hovered over Copenhagen and Oslo airports for hours.
